Favorite Albums of 2021

As another dystopian year comes to its conclusion, I've rounded up my favorite albums of the year.

I've been watching a lot of older films in favor of newer ones since the pandemic shifted the cinematic experience from theaters to flat screens. But really great and interesting new music is continuing to be released with many older artists recharged and new artists refreshing genres.

In no particular order, here are my favorites:

Nas - King's Disease II

 Adele - 30

Ruth Mascelli - A Night At The Baths

 J. Cole - The Off Season

Pet Shop Boys - Discovery (Live in Rio 1994)

Nation of Language - A Way Forward

Mica Levi - Zola (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Matthew Milia - Keego Harbor

Same Eyes - Parties to End

Gary Numan - Intruder

Kanye West - Donda

Ryan Adams - Big Colors

The War on Drugs - I Don't Live Here Anymore

Rostam - Changephobia

Floating Points, Pharoah Sanders, London Symphony Orchestra - Promises

Meek Mill - Expensive Pain
